After a decade-long hiatus, Helvete returned to San Andreas. Once a notorious black metal band turned gang, they resurfaced as gruesome gourmets, serving provocative, unconventional cuisine with a side of sinister humor. Rumors still swirl about the secrets of their missing years—some say they were plotting; others say they were perfecting the ultimate recipes.
Shagwrath's original idea was a virtual black metal band: people from across the world getting together online to play music, release songs, and live the band life.
When the virtual-band dream met reality, Helvete pivoted into crime, concerts, heists, tongue-in-cheek church burnings, the Mosh Pit event, and a notorious rivalry with Arms Assassins.
After SWAT and ALT earned their place at the top, Helvete fought relentlessly for the same goal and became the first gang to reach Level 5.
Then came a decade-long disappearance. No shows. No criminal spectacle. No trace—only the legend and the increasingly questionable stories about what happened next.
In 2023 the former musicians reconvened in San Andreas as gruesome gourmets, turning their love of metal, extremity, gallows humor, and criminal theater into Helvete's new culinary enterprise.
Helvete rejects the mundane in favor of the malevolent: bold flavors, occult humor, theatrical presentation, and a devotion to the extreme-metal scene that never really went away.
Despite its reputation, Helvete participates in charity, workshops, sponsorships, and culinary opportunities for troubled youths—helping them stay off the streets… and out of the grinder.
